Last night I headed to Goderich for dinner and went to Thyme on 21. I go there quite often for lunch but I hadn’t been there for dinner in ages. However, after last night I think I will be going there more frequently. The food was amazing! For appetizers I split the spring roles and the chicken liver peppercorn pate. They were both amazing! The dipping sauce for the spring rolls was incredible, and the pate was so so so tasty! I never thought I would be much of a pate person, the thought of eating chicken liver kinda freaks me out, but turns out, I love pate! For the main I ordered the special. Which was pasta in a garlic and white wine sauce with scallops and shrimp, and my dear friend had the lamb tenderloin with roasted red potatoes and sautéed veg in a lemon mint sauce. The lamb was absolutely perfect! It was honestly one of the best lamb dishes I have ever had! That’s the thing I love about restaurants like Thyme on 21, everything was fresh, a lot of the options are local, and everything is made to order. The service was incredible, as it always is, and the overall experience was really nice. The free bread they bring out to is so yummy! Onion and sage loaf straight form the oven, give me a break, so perfect! If you’re looking to go out for a nice meal this weekend, I recommend thyme on 21! ( get the lamb!)
